Blackhawks Assign Laurent Brossoit to Rockford
The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that the team has assigned goaltender Laurent Brossoit to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Brossoit, 32, has posted a 2-1-0 record, a .900 save percentage and a 3.39 goals-against average in three games with the IceHogs this season. He also scored his first professional goal on Dec. 12 against Milwaukee.
Up next, the Hogs travel to take on the Manitoba Moose on Saturday, December 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Canada Life Center. Rockford returns to the BMO Center on Saturday, December 27 at 7:00 p.m. The first 1,500 fans 14 and under will receive a youth jersey giveaway presented by Westside Children's Therapy.
