Blackhawks Assign Landon Slaggert to Rockford

The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that the team has assigned forward Landon Slaggert to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Slaggert, 23, has appeared in five games with the Blackhawks during the 2025-26 campaign.

The Notre Dame product recorded 25 points (10g, 15a) with the IceHogs last year while skating in 39 games.

The IceHogs are back in action on Friday, November 7 with a 7:00 p.m. puck drop against the Admirals in Milwaukee. Rockford is back at home inside the BMO Center on Saturday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m. to host the Admirals on "Back to the Future Night." Tickets are still available at icehogs.com
