Blackhawks Assign Koci To Rockford

General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have assigned forward David Koci to Rockford in the AHL.

Koci appeared in 18 games for the Blackhawks this season and did not score while posting 68 penalty minutes.

Koci was sidelined for 10 games with a broken nose suffered in a game against Boston back on October 25th. He has been a healthy scratch for 15 of the last 18 games.

The Blackhawks next home game will be on Sunday afternoon. February 17th, when they host the Colorado Avalanche in a 12:00 noon start.
