The Chicago Blackhawks have activated defenseman Aaron Johnson (6-2, 211) from Injured Reserve.
The 25-year-old blueliner, who has missed each of Chicago’s last 11 games, ranked second among NHL defensemen and was tied for fifth overall in the league with a +13 plus/minus rating when he was placed on Injured Reserve on Nov. 28. The Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, native has already matched a career high with three goals and has collected seven points and 12 penalty minutes in 18 contests with the Blackhawks this season.
