The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired the Edmonton Oilers’ sixth round selection (151st overall) in the 2010 National Hockey League Entry Draft in exchange for center Colin Fraser. The Blackhawks now have 11 total selections in the Draft, including five in the first two rounds (24, 30, 43, 54 and 60).
Fraser, 25, recorded 36 points (13G, 23A) and 108 penalty minutes in 157 regular-season games with the Blackhawks over the past four seasons, which includes seven goals and 19 points in 70 tilts this season. Fraser, who was originally acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers on February 19, 2004, also appeared in five Stanley Cup Playoff contests over the past two years with Chicago.
