Blackhawks 2009-10 Single Game Tickets On Sale Monday, August 17 at 10 am

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that single game tickets for 2009-10 regular-season games at the United Center will go on sale on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. CT.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster by calling 800-745-3000, at all Ticketmaster retail locations including Carson Pirie Scott stores, Woodfield Mall Guest Services Desk, and Gurnee Mills Mall Guest Services Desk, at the United Center box office, The Blackhawks Store at 333 N. Michigan Avenue, and at chicagoblackhawks.com.

Customers will be able to purchase up to six (6) tickets during the sale on Monday, August 17. For information regarding season ticket packages, or group ticket packages contact the Chicago Blackhawks at 312-455-7000.

After opening the season in Finland as part of NHL Premiere 2009, the Blackhawks open their 2009-10 40-game home slate at the United Center on Saturday, October 10 when they host the Colorado Avalanche at 7:30 P.M.

The Blackhawks led the National Hockey League with an average of 22,247 fans per game during the 2008-09 regular-season, which includes setting a league club record by attracting an average of 21,732 fans to its 40 home dates at the United Center. Chicago also established a franchise record by welcoming over one million fans (1,052,261) to the United Center in 2008-09, including the regular-season and playoffs. Dating back to the end of the 2007-08 regular season, the Blackhawks have hosted 52 consecutive capacity crowds.
