Rockford, Ill.-Fans can buy a piece of the action as the Rockford IceHogs announced on Tuesday that the American Hockey League club will be auctioning a set of their game-worn jerseys from the 2010-11 season through the team’s eBay store.
The auction includes Rockford’s red road jerseys and the jerseys will be split into two groups over the next two weeks. The first auction, featuring 11 jerseys, will begin at 8 p.m. (CT) on Thursday, Aug. 4 and concludes at 8 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, Aug. 10.
Bidding will begin on the second round of game-worn jerseys on Thursday, Aug. 11 at 8 p.m. (CT) and the auction will close on Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 8 p.m. (CT). Each jersey will have a beginning price of $300.
