ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs today announced that three specialized jerseys from last Friday’s Military Appreciation Night (presented by BURR Pest Control) will be available for online bidding at the IceHogs' eBay store beginning tonight, Nov. 30 at 9 p.m.
The 2017-18 military jersey features an IceHogs nose art logo; a plane with the likeness of Hammy Hog is front and center against a backdrop of the sky and clouds, with the words “When Pigs Fly” in script above the roundel. The jersey itself contains red camouflage print under the arms, on the sides of the torso and around the wrists of an otherwise all-black jersey. Four stars also adorn the front and rear hemlines of the jersey.
(NOTE: Auction links included below will become live when bidding opens at 9 p.m.)
Each jersey will include a certificate of authenticity. Auctions will conclude next Thursday, Dec. 7, at 9 p.m. Please note, the customizable jersey cannot include the name and number of a current IceHogs player.
Funds from the online auction will then be totaled along with the money raised during last Friday’s live jersey auction, with a portion of the combined proceeds benefitting the Veterans Drop-in Center in Rockford.
