BID ON GAME-WORN JERSEYS FROM 2016-17 SEASON
ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford IceHogs today announced they will auction game-worn and game-issued jerseys (link will update once auctions become live) from the 2016-17 season beginning tonight, May 23 at 7 p.m.
The sweaters will be posted for online auction at the IceHogs eBay store each week for the next 17 weeks, with the final auction concluding on Sept. 18. Each auction begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday and ends the following Monday at the same time.
This year’s set of game-issued sweaters features a combination of the IceHogs’ home white and road red sweaters, and several black and red practice jerseys. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to bid on a limited number of alternate, cream-colored jerseys during the 17-week span.
Notable jerseys for this year’s auction include game-worn sweaters from Kyle Baun, Sam Carrick, Jake Dowell, PC Labrie, Mark McNeill, Evan Mosey and Nick Schmaltz. Several sweaters from the 2015-16 season will also be available for auction.
Each jersey includes a certificate of authenticity, and several sweaters also feature an autograph from the corresponding player.
