BID NOW ON ICEHOGS UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS
Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs revealed last week the team’s first of three specialty jerseys on the season.
The special ugly Christmas sweaters were worn in Friday’s 3-1 defeat over the Chicago Wolves at the BMO Harris Bank Center. A few of the jerseys were auctioned off at the game via blind silent auction and the majority will be included in the IceHogs jersey raffle at each remaining home game this season.
However, two of the “ugly” sweaters, donned by forwards Bryan Bickell and Ryan Hartman, are now up for auction to the highest bidder in the IceHogs eBay store. The auction is open now at http://stores.ebay.com/Rockford-IceHogs and will close on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the University of Illinois College of Medicine and prostate cancer research.
Next Home Game: Friday, Dec. 11 vs. Iowa Wild at 7 p.m. Rockford returns home after a five-game road trip to battle the Iowa Wild. The first 1,000 fans 21-and-older will receive an IceHogs Beer Stein courtesy of Bud Light. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. for a Blues Flame Lounge Friday. Fans 21-and-older are invited to enjoy live blues music, a happy hour special, and free appetizers at the Blue Flame Lounge on the main concourse.
