BID NOW ON BROVEMBER SWEATERS
Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs unveiled specialty jerseys last week to commence the team’s Brovember initiative benefitting men’s health.
The special sweaters were worn for two games at the BMO Harris Bank Center, in the IceHogs 6-1 win over the Iowa Wild on Nov. 26 and again on Nov. 28 versus the Chicago Wolves. A few of the jerseys were auctioned off at the games via blind silent auction and the majority will be included in the IceHogs jersey raffle at each remaining home game this season.
However, two of the Brovember sweaters, donned by goaltender Scott Darling and forward Peter Regin, are now up for auction to the highest bidder in the IceHogs eBay store. The auction is open now at http://stores.ebay.com/Rockford-IceHogs and will close on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Healing Pathways Cancer Resource Center.
Next Home Game: Saturday, Dec. 6 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins at 7 p.m. Bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to Saturday's contest for Teddy Bear Toss Night. All the furry critters can be thrown onto the ice after the IceHogs score their first goal of the game. The stuffed animals will then be collected and donated to local hospitals and charities.
