Guns n’ Hoses Pregame: The Rockford Area Police Department and the Rockford Fire Department go head-to-head to find out which department reigns supreme on the ice. The game begins at 2 p.m., with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. To attend, patrons must have an IceHogs ticket for the contest later that night. The Blue Flame Grill and merchandise stand located on the concourse will be open during the contest.

Scott Darling Bobblehead Giveaway: The first 2,500 fans will receive a Scott Darling bobblehead courtesy of Vienna Beef. Twelve autographed bobbleheads will be randomly mixed in with all of the other giveaways for a few lucky fans to receive.

Matchup: The IceHogs take on the Lake Erie Monsters for the first game in a back-to-back series. Last weekend the two Central Division rivals faced off twice in Cleveland, with the Monsters winning each by only a single goal, one of which required overtime. The IceHogs look to avenge the losses this weekend. Rockford will also be welcoming forward Matt Fraser, defenseman Jay Harrison, and goaltender Drew MacIntyre, who were all acquired in trades last weekend, to their new home for the first time.

Proceeds will benefit The Autism Program of Easter Seals.

Postgame Skate: Following the game with Lake Erie, fans can take the ice at the BMO Harris Bank Center for the last post-game “Skate with the Hogs” this season. The IceHogs players will join fans out on the ice for those who brought skates to the game, while some players will be in the concourse near section 123 to sign autographs for those without skates. Fans must bring their own skates into the game. Skates will not be available for rent. In regards to the new security measures, please note that participants will be allowed to bring in bags to hold their equipment, however, they will still be inspected upon entry.
