Seney took the ice for his 500th professional game, helping the IceHogs secure 4-3 shootout win over Iowa. Seney, 30, is in his fourth season with Rockford and has skated in 243 games in an IceHogs sweater. The Ontario native was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the 6th round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and made his pro debut with the Binghamton Devils on March 23, 2018 against the Rochester Americans. Seney collected an assist in his AHL debut with an assist on a goal from Nathan Bastian. The Rockford captain has also skated in 434 AHL games and 66 NHL games playing with New Jersey, Toronto and Rockford.
Connect Four: The IceHogs have their first four-game win streak since the beginning of the season, where they won the first four games of the season. Rockford has collected points in eight of it's previous ten games with seven wins and an overtime loss over that stretch. The Hogs had a successful March, going 7-3-1 in 11 games throughout the month. With three consecutive wins over the Wild, Rockford has taken a four-point lead for the sixth spot in the division.
Felcman Joins Rockford: Blackhawks prospect Jiri Felcman joined the IceHogs earlier this week and is expected to make his North American debut this week. Chicago selected Felcman in the 3rd round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and signed him to a three-year entry-level contract on March, 27. The 20-year-old is coming off a 20 point campaign with SC Langnau in Switzerland's top hockey league. The Czechia native tallied two assists and went on to earn a Bronze medal with Team Czechia at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship.
