Some memorable dates this week in Blackhawks history:

• Captain Jonathan Toews got his 1st 5-minute NHL major penalty on November 18, 2008 at Phoenix and then went on to score the decisive goal in the shootout to give the Hawks a 3-2 win over the Coyotes.

• In the same game, defenseman Brian Campbell registered his season high when he skated for 31:47 minutes.

• Hawk defenseman Duncan Keith skated in his 100th NHL game on November 19, 2006 at Vancouncer and now has appeared in 340+ matches for Chicago.

• On November 20, 1988, the Blackhawks retired the jerseys of their 2 greatest goalies in ceremonies at the Chicago Stadium by hositing #1 Glenn Hall and #35 Tony Esposito numbers to the rafters.

• Defenseman Bob Murray, who ranks 4th in games played in a Hawk uniform(1,008 over 15 seasons), tied a team mark with 2 power play goals in a 6-4 victory over Minnesota at the Stadium on November 21, 1982.

• The National Hockey League was formed on November 22, 1917 in Montreal with the Blackhawks joining in 1926.

• The Blackhawks set a home ice record for goals on November 23, 1980 in an 11-3 romp over Hartford at the Chicago as Ron Sedlbauer tallied his only hat trick in a Chicago uniform. The all time Hawk goal record and widest victory margin was January 30, 1969 at Philadelphia - a 12-0 slaughter.

• The 1st of 34 all time Chicago double shutouts came on November 26, 1927 at Detroit with Hawk netminder Charlie Gardiner dueling the Cougars' (now Red Wings) hap Holmes in the 0-0 battle. The last Hawk scoreless tie came in 2003 at Phoenix.

• Hawk Hall of Famer, Billy Mosienko, registered the only 4 goal night of his career on November 27, 1948 in a 5-3 win at Detroit.
