Chicago, IL (June 30, 2010) – Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, will provide its viewers with a special programming gift this summer entitled Chicago Blackhawks: A Championship Journey.

Beginning Saturday, July 10 at 7:00 PM, this extraordinary, five-day (July 10-14) summertime journey will give viewers the opportunity to relive the excitement and glory of the Blackhawks amazing Stanley Cup championship run with complete game replays of every Blackhawk Stanley Cup Playoff victory in the Western Conference opening round vs. Nashville, Western Conference semifinals vs. Vancouver, Western Conference Finals vs. San Jose – plus, all six games of the thrilling 2010 Stanley Cup Final against the Philadelphia Flyers. The announcement was made by James J. Corno, President of Comcast SportsNet Chicago.

Comcast SportsNet will televise the first of its 18 Stanley Cup Playoff game replays on Saturday night, July 10 at 7:00 PM beginning with Game 2 of the Blackhawks opening round series vs. Nashville (the Game 4 replay will air later that evening at 11:00 PM). Then, over the course of the next four days/nights, Comcast SportsNet will air two games on July 11, five games on July 12, five games on July 13 and four games on July 14, including the Game 6 replay of the Stanley Cup Final championship clincher at 7:00 PM and Comcast SportsNet’s replay of its Chicago Blackhawks: 2010 Championship Parade & Rally at 11:00 PM. (NOTE: The entire schedule for Comcast SportsNet’s Chicago Blackhawks: A Championship Journey is included in this announcement. Game replays will only be made available within Comcast SportsNet Chicago’s regular NHL viewing territory.)

Following several Blackhawks Stanley Cup Playoff game replays, Comcast SportsNet will re-air the supplementary Smirnoff Vodka Blackhawks Post Game Live as it originally aired featuring post-game press conferences and player interviews. Plus, Comcast SportsNet’s newly-enhanced website, CSNChicago.com, will provide a special page set up for fans (http://csnchicago.com/pages/hawks_championship_journey), which will include Blackhawks “Insider” Brett Ballantini’s game recaps, video highlights and special TBA “wrap-around” video footage.
