Week 17 Recap
The Rockford IceHogs returned from the All-Star break to post wins over the Peoria Rivermen and Grand Rapids Griffins and improve to 6-0-0-1 over their last seven games. The Hogs welcome in the North Division’s top team in the Hamilton Bulldogs on Wednesday for the first time since 2007-08 and then face Peoria and Grand Rapids in a two-game set this weekend.

The blueliner has a three-game point streak, which matches the second longest among IceHogs defenseman in 2009-10. He has six points (1g-5a) in his last six games. The d-man has surpassed his career high in points and assists in his first season with the IceHogs.

Saturday, Jan. 30 at Grand Rapids Griffins: The IceHogs head to Grand Rapids to play the Griffins at Van Andel Arena for the final time in 2009-10. The puck drops at 6 p.m. It is the Hogs’ fourth trip to Michigan and sixth contest between the two teams this year.
