Game Preview: IceHogs Begin Weekend Series In Texas
Cedar Park, TX The Rockford IceHogs (28-37-3-2) open their final weekend of the season with a Friday night showdown with the Texas Stars (35-29-4-2) tonight at 7 p.m.

Tale of The Tape: The IceHogs conclude the 2025-26 season with a trip to Cedar Park to battle the Texas Stars. The IceHogs have a 3-2-1 record against Texas this season and are playing the Stars for the first time since late January. Rockford split the first season in Texas back in November taking a 4-3 overtime win on Nov. 21. Brett Seney leads the IceHogs with five points, all assists, in five meetings with the Stars this season.

On The Road Again: The IceHogs conclude the 2025-26 campaign with four games away from Rockford. Rockford split it's two road games last weekend with a win over Grand Rapids and a loss to Chicago. Rockford ends the season with a two game series in Texas next weekend against the Stars. The IceHogs enter the final stretch of the season with a 17-16-2 record away from home, having won their previous four road games.
Pitlick Produces Again Forward Rem Pitlick tallied his 16 goal with Rockford with an empty net goal in Grand Rapids. Pitlick, 29, has 22 total goals this season between Bakersfield and Rockford. The Ontario native also picked up an assist in last night's game, recording his 15th multi-point game this season. Pitlick's season high came in his return with Rockford on Dec. 20 in Manitoba where he scored a goal and picked up three assists for a four point effort. 34 of Pitlick's 49 points have come with the IceHogs
Gajan's AHL Debut: The Chicago Blackhawks 2023 2nd round selection Adam Gajan made his AHL debut with the IceHogs last Sunday. The Slovakia native impressed the IceHogs, making 36 stops on 39 shots against the Wolves. Gajan spent the last two seasons with Minnesota Duluth, earning 26 wins over the two years. The rookie netminder is headed back to Europe to represent Slovakia in the 2026 IIHF World Championships this month.
