After 15 professional seasons, including parts of three with the Rockford IceHogs, and two Stanley Cup titles with the Chicago Blackhawks, goaltender Corey Crawford has announced his retirement.

Selected by the Blackhawks in the second round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft (52nd overall), Crawford stepped into the starting spotlight prior to the 2010-11 NHL season and has been the go-to goalie ever since.

He is the Hawks' only goalie to win multiple Stanley Cup titles (2013, 2015) and multiple William M. Jennings Trophies (2012-13, 2014-15) as the goaltender with the fewest goals against in a single season. He also holds team records for playoff wins (52) and regular-season save percentage (.918, min. 100 appearances) and is second in 30+ win seasons (6), third in regular-season wins (260), and sixth in regular-season shutouts (26).

The Châteauguay, Quebec native also appeared in two NHL All-Star Games (2015, 2017) and represented Canada in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, helping them to the gold medal.

Before becoming a household name in Chicago, Crawford skated parts of three seasons with the IceHogs (2007-10) and is the team's all-time leader in games played (147), minutes played (8,225), saves (3,790), wins (75) and losses (55). He ranks second with six shutouts, seventh with a 2.67 goals-against average, and eighth with a .910 save percentage.
