LIVE: IceHogs Battling Ads in Milwaukee

Nov 30, 2025
Written By: Nick Lalpuis

Rockford, IL- The Rockford IceHogs (8-10-2-1) conclude their two-game set with the Milwaukee Admirals (11-3-2-0) today at 4 p.m. at UWM Panther Arena. The game was initially scheduled for last night but was postponed due to travel concerns with inclement weather.

The Matchup:

2025-26 Season Series: 1-1-2-0

Last Time Out: The IceHogs came up just short Friday night against Milwaukee, falling 3-2 in overtime. Rockford opened the scoring when Jamie Engelbert beat Matthew Murray on a shorthanded breakaway at the 13:09 mark of the first period. The Admirals would respond with back-to-back goals from Joakim Kemell and Ryder Rolston. Brett Seney would tie the game for Rockford at 12:51 of the third period, eventually sending the game into overtime. Oasiz Wiesblat would find the game-winning goal on the power play at 1:59 of the extra frame.

Three Things To Know:

No Love Lost: The two division rivals began Friday's battle with a trio of fights with Marcel Marcel, Andrew Perrott, and Taige Harding dropping the gloves for Rockford. The two teams are no stranger to the physical battle as they have had at least one fight in each of the first four meetings, including a four-fight performance on Nov. 7. Despite the fighting Friday night, the IceHogs allowed only two power play chances for the Admirals.

By A Razor's Edge: For the third time this season, the IceHogs and Admirals needed extra time to determine a winner. Each of the first four meetings have been defensive struggles, with neither team scoring more than three goals. The IceHogs have been taken to overtime seven times this season posting a 4-2 record in overtime and a 0-1 record in the shootout. Ten of the IceHogs' 21 games this season have been decided by one goal, including three meetings with Milwaukee.

Seney's Streak: With his game-tying goal in the third period Friday night Brett Seney extended his point streak to four games. The fourth-year IceHog continues to rack up the points and is currently tied for the third spot on the AHL point leaderboard with 22 points (5g, 17a). Seney, who is in his second season at the IceHogs' captain, has compiled 11 points over his last nine games. The 29-year-old sits atop the IceHogs leaderboard in scoring and has been held off the scoresheet in on seven of the teams first 21 games this season.
