Pirri's Hat Trick Fuels IceHogs Win
Forward Brandon Pirri's hat trick last Wednesday night secured a 4-3 win for the IceHogs over the Central Division's top-ranked Chicago Wolves to complete a four-game mini-series between the two in-state rivals. The win also gave the IceHogs their first victory over their in-state rivals this season (1-6-0-0) and four of the seven decisions have been decided by one goal.

Rising Up the IceHogs All-Time Ranks
Pirri picked up all-time IceHogs goals 71, 72 and 73 on Wednesday, moving him past Mark McNeill (72) for second all-time in IceHogs goal scoring. Forward Jeremy Morin (2010-16) holds the record with 90 goals.

Forward Josiah Slavin registered two assists on Wednesday and now has two goals and two assists for four points in his first to professional games. He scored in his professional debut on Mar. 28 vs. Chicago, added his second tally the following game on Apr. 3 at Chicago and set up Pirri's first and second goals Wednesday.

McLaughlin Stays Hot for Hogs
Forward Dylan McLaughlin earned an assist on Wednesday vs. Chicago and enters Tuesday’s showdown at Iowa on a three-game point streak (two goals, one assist).
