Rockford, Ill- To help the victims of the severe weather in central Illinois last weekend, the Rockford IceHogs are encouraging fans to bring donations to the BMO Harris Bank Center on Wednesday Nov. 20. Specifically, baby food, diapers, first aid kits, bottled water, duct tape, jackets and clothes will be accepted at the BMO box office and season ticket holder entrance. All fans that bring an item for donation will receive a free ticket to Wednesday's game, limit of one ticket per person.

The IceHogs will also be accepting monetary donations at every concession stand and the U.S. Cellular fan zone throughout the night. All money donated will benefit the storm victims through the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

For tickets to Wednesday’s tilt, or any IceHogs home game, call (815) 968-5222, visit, or stop by the BMO Harris Bank Center or any Ticketmaster outlet, including Walmart.

After securing a win at home on Saturday, the IceHogs (9-8-1-0) host the Western Conference leading Abbotsford Heat (13-5-0-1) for the first time this season.

The game is a WXRX Dollar Day game. Fans can purchase hot dogs, soda, beer and companion tickets for just one dollar. A special WXRX package is also available for Wednesday's contest. The pack includes a ticket to the game, a refillable 14 oz. cup, and a hot dog for just $15. The offer is available at the BMO Harris Bank Center box office.

Don’t forget to stop by the U.S. Cellular Fan Zone on the main concourse during the game to vote for a winner in the IceHogs Brovember tournament to help raise funds and awareness for men’s health. Voting can be done on the IceHogs Facebook page by commenting on each matchup, or by donating money into the player’s donation bin. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Healing Pathways Cancer Resource Center.
