Mike Peck

Director of Communications

The 2013-14 season is Mike’s 13th overall with the Rockford IceHogs, including seven during the team's AHL era. Mike received the 2005-06 United Hockey League Public Relations Director of the Year Award and the 2004-05 UHL Broadcaster of the Year Award.

Mike oversees the IceHogs' Communications Department, which includes media and public relations, community relations and all of the organization's digital outlets. Other responsibilities include organizing and disseminating of all press releases, play-by-play broadcaster for all regular season and playoff games as well as the layout and design of the IceHogs yearbook and media guide

The St. Paul, Minnesota native attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Communications. Mike was also a four-year varsity athlete at UWSP, competing in cross-country and track and field.

The 35-year old attended Rockford Jefferson High School. The veteran voice of the IceHogs enjoys sports, music, working out and is an avid Minnesota fan (especially the Twins!) Mike his wife Andie, daughter Madeline and son Michael reside in Rockford.
