Golf alongside IceHogs players and coaches

Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs, inconjunction with the Rockford Park District, will hold the 3rd Annual Birdies and Blades Golf Outing on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Elliot Golf Course in Cherry Valley and there is limited space remaining.

The golf scramble, which benefits the Park District's Jr. StreetHogs youth hockey program, will match each three person team with an IceHogs player or coach. The cost to participate is $550 for each team, and includes green fees, a golf cart, team autograph, an IceHogs jersey, a tee sign, lunch and dinner.

Space is limited for the golf outing but to secure your spot, fill out the registration form by clicking here and return it in person to the Carlson Ice Arena, located at 4150 N. Perryville Road in Loves Park.

The event begins with a lunch and silent auction at 11:30 a.m. before teeing off at 12:30 p.m. Following the round of golf, dinner will be served at 6 p.m. courtesy of Noodles & Company. The program will also include brief comments by IceHogs Head Coach Ted Dent and others.

The Birdies and Blades golf outing is presented by the Rockford IceHogs, Rockford Park District, RAVE, Pepsi, Bud Light, Noodles & Company, and Junior StreetHogs.
