METROCENTRE ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH U.S. CELLULAR

Collaboration includes sponsorship of press box and IceHogs Fan Center, in addition to previous exclusive wireless provider relationship

Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford MetroCentre proudly announced U.S. Cellular as the sponsor of the press box suite at a news conference at the MetroCentre today. The press box suite is a private suite on the east side of the third floor of the facility.  During sporting events at the MetroCentre, half of the press box is used for media and scouts while the other half is used to seat approximately 30 spectators.  During non-sporting events, the entire press box is used for seating up to 60 spectators.

U.S. Cellular is the current exclusive wireless provider for the MetroCentre. As part of U.S. Cellular’s long-term partnership with the MetroCentre, the IceHogs Fan Center will be re-named the U.S. Cellular Fan Zone. The fan zone is located in the main concourse during IceHogs games, and serves as the main information hub for the team, as well as a destination to pick up prizes and enter contests.  During the off-season, the IceHogs take the fan display around the region to various fairs, shows and festivals.  U.S. Cellular representatives will have the opportunity to join IceHogs staff during those community events as well.

Other elements of the partnership between the MetroCentre and U.S. Cellular include:

- Text promotion on the video board during events

- Helmet sticker sponsor for the IceHogs

- Presenting sponsor for a celebrity appearance at an IceHogs game

- Presenting sponsor of a premium giveaway item at an IceHogs game
