Rockford, Ill.- Fans of the Rockford IceHogs now have a new home to watch all of the IceHogs road games.  The American Hockey League club announced on Wednesday that Sports Page is the official road game viewing sponsor for the IceHogs during the 2008-09 season.

Sports Page is located at 3907 Broadway in Rockford, just off of Alpine Road.  Beginning Friday night, fans can watch the IceHogs live at Sports Page through AHL Live.  Every regular season and postseason IceHogs road game will be shown at Sports Page.

Sports Page will also offer fans food and Bud Light specials.  For $10, fans can purchase different food packages that include an option of either a Bud Light or soft drink.  Kids’ 6-12 can get a food package for just $5 and kids under six can eat for free.  Food specials will begin 30 minutes prior to face-off.

The games can be viewed in Sports Page’s west room.  There is parking and an entrance on the west side of Sports Page that is directly accessible to the west room that will feature IceHogs hockey.

For more information regarding IceHogs’ viewing parties, contact the IceHogs at (815) 986-6465.  Both games this weekend will be shown live at Sports Page as the IceHogs travel to Iowa on Friday and Milwaukee on Saturday night.

Next Home Game: Friday, Oct. 24 vs. Norfolk Admirals: Game time is 7:30 p.m. The Norfolk Admirals come into the Rockford MetroCentre for the first of two straight against the IceHogs.  The weekend set marks the only time during the 2008-09 regular season that the Hogs will face an Eastern Conference team at home.
