-Named First Team OHL All-Star and Saginaw MVP after recording 34 goals and 76 points in 44 regular-season games
-Notched his first NHL point on 4/21/12, with an assist on the game-tying goal in a playoff game against Phoenix
-NHL playoff debut on 4/19/12 with the Blackhawks in a 2-3 loss against Phoenix
-Awarded the William Hanley Trophy on 4/12/12 for OHL’s Most Sportsmanlike Player
-Named Canadian Hockey League player of the week from 10/17-10/23
-Made his NHL debut 10/7/11 vs. the Dallas Stars and played two games with the Blackhawks before getting loaned to Saginaw (OHL)
