Jim Gade is in his sixth season with the IceHogs as Multi-Media Manager. He first joined the staff in 2008 part-time in the Creative Services Department.
Jim completed an Associates of Science degree in 2007 in Graphic Design from Westwood College. As a student at Westwood, Jim has had two honorable mentions in Art competitions, as well as first place in the 2009 contest. He also has work displayed in the Westwood Denver campus. In 2009 Jim also completed a Bachelors Degree in Science for Multimedia. He also has work published in “The International Library of Photography” 2008 collected impressions.
In his spare time, he enjoys creating motion graphics as well as doing more traditional art such as drawing, airbrushing and oil painting. Jim also does occasional freelance work in the Rockford/Chicago area.

Little Known Fact: I played drums & guitar for over 10 years and spent six years playing in a band called Pure Aggression. I am also a huge fan of surrealism art, Salvador Dali and Rene Magritte are two of my favorite influences.
