ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs return the BMO Harris Bank Center for a weekend set against the Milwaukee Admirals and Grand Rapids Griffins. The weekend’s slate of promotions is highlighted by a pregame party in the Blues Flame Lounge Friday and both Geeks and Goblins Night (presented by 97 ZOK) and postgame trick-or-treating on Saturday.
FRIDAY, OCT. 27 VS. MILWAUKEE ADMIRALS
Time: Puck drop is 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Blues Flame Lounge Pregame Party (presented by Vintage @ 501): Fans ages 21 and older can kick-off their weekend festivities with a Pregame Party at the Blues Flame Lounge, located on the BMO Harris Bank Center concourse. Friday’s event begins with live music from Recently Paroled at 5:15 p.m. and will also feature free appetizers and happy-hour specials.
NOTE: Guests must have a ticket to Friday’s game to attend the Pregame Party. Those attending must enter the arena through the upper-concourse level entrance on Elm Street (near the Box Office).
SATURDAY, OCT. 28 VS. GRAND RAPIDS GRIFFINS
Time: Puck drop is 6 p.m. Doors open at 3 p.m.
PVC Tote Bag Giveaway: The first 1,500 fans at the BMO Harris Bank Center will receive a free clear PVC tote bag, courtesy of Dr. Sexson Orthodontics.
Geeks & Goblins Night: Fans are invited to wear their favorite cosplay or Halloween costume for the game, and Chicago cosplay professional, Victori Belle, will be on-hand to judge a cosplay costume contest. Doors open early for the event (3 p.m.) to allow fans to browse a variety of specialty vendor booths on the BMO concourse, a setup which will feature around 20 comic-book vendors, comic writers and artists. NOTE: Fans must purchase a ticket to Saturday's IceHogs game to visit the vendors and participate in cosplay events.
Postgame Trick-or-Treat with the IceHogs: Following the game, kids ages 14 and under are invited to line up at the top of section 101 for a postgame trick-or-treat with the IceHogs players on the arena ice. Kids participating in trick-or-treating may bring a clear or plastic bag into the arena for the IceHogs game.
NOTE: The tote-bag giveaway may also be used for the trick-or-treat, and the IceHogs will also provide a limited number of clear PVC tote bags for the postgame event, courtesy of Dr. Sexson Orthodontics.
