Article By: Nate HaeniRockford, Ill. – Hammy, the official mascot of the Rockford IceHogs, has another busy weekend on tap as he will make stops in the Rockford community on both Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, Hammy will head out to Rockford Christian High School to cheer on the participants in the Winnebago County Relay for Life. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and the school is located at 1401 North Bell School Road in Rockford.
Then, on Saturday, Hammy is doubled up as he will stop by two employee appreciation fairs for companies in the Rockford area.
The first stop is at Stenstrom, located at 2420 20th Street in Rockford, beginning at 10 a.m. Hammy will be out mingling with families and children at Stenstrom’s Health and Wellness event.
After a brief break, Hammy will be heading out to the Boone County Fairgrounds from 3-6 p.m. The Hogs mascot will be joining the fun and games at the General Mills’ employee fun fair.
