SAVARD AND SKILLE TO APPEAR AT NEW BLACKHAWKS YOUTH HOCKEY CAMP

Who/When: Chicago Blackhawks Ambassador and Hall of Famer Denis Savard (Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28) and Blackhawks right wing and 2005 National Hockey League First Round Draft Pick Jack Skille (Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.).

Where: Southwest Ice Arena in Crestwood (5505 127th St.).

Event Information:
Savard and Skille will be dropping by the NEW Chicago Blackhawks Youth Hockey Camp at Southwest Ice Arena on Monday and Tuesday (Savard only) to participate on and off the ice with the students. In conjunction with AthletiCo and Comcast SportsNet, the NEW Chicago Blackhawks Hockey Camps are open to boys and girls at any skill level, ages five to 15, looking to improve their individual and team skills on and off the ice. Led by former Blackhawks forward and current Television Color Analyst Eddie Olczyk, the five-day camps include over 12 hours of on-ice skill development, off-ice and classroom training. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Included every week is a visit by a current Blackhawks player.

The remaining camp dates are scheduled for the following rinks this summer:

July 27 to 31: Southwest Ice Arena
Aug. 10 to 14: Winnetka Ice Arena (490 Hibbard Road)

Aug. 17 to 21: Seven Bridges Ice Arena in Woodridge (6690 Route 53)
