Rockford, Ill.- Throughout the summer Rockford IceHogs fans can catch Hammy Hog and members of the IceHogs organization in and around the Rockford community.

To check out where the IceHogs are in the community, visit Already planned for the summer of 2009 includes the Chicago Blackhawks Fan Convention, Boone County Fair, Winnebago County Fair and much more.  The IceHogs will also assist in “Rockford ShareFest” and “Habitat For Humanity” once again this summer.

At the local county fairs, patrons can visit the IceHogs’ U.S. Cellular Fan Zone and pick up information regarding IceHogs ticket packages for the upcoming 2009-10 regular season, sign up to win prizes and pick up info regarding U.S. Cellular.

Throughout the 2008-09 season, the IceHogs made over 125 community appearances with players, coaches, office staff members and the team’s mascots Hammy and Hammer Hog. The IceHogs also donated over $40,000 to local not-for-profit organizations in ‘08-09 and have donated nearly $550,000 in the team’s 10 seasons of professional hockey in the Forest City back to the Rockford community.
