HOGS OUT AND ABOUT THIS WEEKEND

Rockford, Ill- Hammy and Hammer Hog will be busy this weekend with Fourth of July parades and festivities around the region.  The action kicks off Friday at the Pacemaker Countryside Market in Poplar Grove. 

Hammer will be at the Countryside Market located at 13517 Route 76 in Poplar Grove on Friday from 5 to 6 p.m.   Other events scheduled include food and drinks all day, inflatables for kids, a Bob FM remote, fireworks at 9 p.m. and a family movie on the Giant Inflatable Screen at 9:30 p.m. 

Hammy will be a part of three parades on the Fourth of July.  At 10 a.m. Hammy will be at the Winnebago Fourth of July Parade.  The parade in Winnebago will begin in front of Winnebago High School on McNair St. 

Hammy along with the IceHogs HogMobile will ride in the Cherry Valley Fourth of July Parade and the Rockford Fourth of July Parade.  The Cherry Valley Parade begins at 1 p.m. in Downtown Cherry Valley.  The Rockford Parade begins at 7 p.m. in Downtown Rockford.  Also Saturday morning Hammer will be at Candlewick Lake participating in Fourth of July festivities there.

On Sunday at 1 p.m. Hammy will be at Dixon's Annual Petunia Festival Parade to wrap up the Independence Day weekend festivities.
