All times are Central, home games are in bold. Games 5, 6 and 7 are if necessary. Local TV/Radio: (CSN: Comcast SportsNet Chicago; WGN: News/Talk 720 WGN Radio) Game 2 of the series at the United Center on Saturday, April 18, will start at 8:00 P.M, after previously being listed as “TBA,” while Game 4 at the Pengrowth Saddledome on Wednesday, April 22, will start at 9:00 P.M., after previously being listed as “TBA.” Game 5 (if necessary) at the United Center on Saturday, April 25, will start at 8:00 P.M., not 9:00 P.M., as previously listed. The start times for Games 6 and 7 are still to be determined. The Blackhawks are the fourth-seed in the Western Conference, marking the first time since the first round of the 1996 Stanley Cup Playoffs (also against Calgary) the team has home-ice advantage in a postseason series. Chicago swept the regular-season series against Calgary, winning all four games in regulation, while holding a 19-7 scoring advantage. The Blackhawks have faced the Flames three times before the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which includes posting a 4-games-to-0 series sweep in the 1996 Western Conference Quarterfinals. Calgary defeated Chicago, 3-games-to-0, in the 1981 Preliminary Round and notched a 4-games-to-1 series win in the 1989 Campbell Conference Finals. |
