BECOME AN EASTERSEALS YOUTH HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE GAME

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs are inviting fans to nominate hockey players ages 18 and under to become an Easterseals Youth Hockey Player of the Game during the 2018-19 season. Kids who are selected as winners of the promotion will receive access to exclusive in-game opportunities at an IceHogs home game during the 2018-19 season.

Registration is free and fans can nominate hockey players who will be 18 or younger during the 2018-19 season. As the Easterseals Youth Hockey Player of the Game, participants will receive four free tickets to an IceHogs home game, a puck signed by an IceHogs player and have the opportunity to skate on the BMO Harris Bank Center ice with the Mountain Dew Ice Crew during the second period.

To nominate a Youth Hockey Player of the Game, fill out the questionnaire on THIS PAGE and email the completed information to ryanm@icehogs.com.

The qualifications for an Easterseals Youth Hockey Player of the Game are:

  • Current youth hockey player age 18 or younger
  • Demonstrates leadership, sportsmanship and has a positive attitude on and off the ice
  • Dedicated and passionate about playing the game of hockey

Easterseals Youth Hockey Players of the Game are invited to wear their youth team’s jersey onto the ice during the game. Please note, however, each player must provide their own skates when they take the ice, as skates will not be provided by the IceHogs.

The Rockford IceHogs will host their home opener for the 2018-19 season on Saturday, Oct. 13 against the Texas Stars at 6 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The first 4,000 fans in attendance to Rockford’s first home game of the campaign will receive a free IceHogs calendar, courtesy of Impact Networking.
